Astrovene is open over HTTP. Create a chart once and you get a content addressed key; from that key you can render the rasi or any divisional chart as an SVG image that embeds anywhere with an ordinary img tag, in a south or north layout, in a light, dark or transparent theme, and in English or Tamil. No API key and no JavaScript are needed for the image, and it caches publicly for ten minutes with an ETag.
The same key serves the whole engine as JSON: graha positions to the arc second, whole-sign houses, the sixteen divisional charts, Vimshottari and three other dasha systems to five levels, daily panchangam with Rahu Kalam and the other windows, and live transits. There is also an MCP server so an AI assistant can cast a chart and read it as a tool rather than guessing at arithmetic it cannot do.
Chart mathematics is public because anyone can check it against their own software. The interpretation is not, on any tier, because the safeguards around how a reading reaches a person do not travel with a JSON payload.
